Today I am thankful for independance. My oldest boy seems to be growing up so fast. In the last few weeks he has started to become so independant. He has started going to order things for himself in cafe's, popping into shops while I wait outside and buying things and today we arrived at a footy game too early. Instead of waiting with me outside for his friends he has talked his way into the field & is sitting on the other side if the fence(still very close to me, but I think he is brave!!) I have always wondered how I would go with the kids growing up, I have been pretty protective of them, but slowly they show you how sensible they are, and although it us hard to let go of the control a bit it is lovely to see them grow and change.
