Today I am thankful for the kids pointing out that this tree looked like an umbrella. The other day the boys noticed that this tree was shaped like an umbrella and were pretending to stand under it. Today I was on my way up to the shops when a rather large downpour was unleashed! I remembered the tree the boys had noticed and raced under it for shelter, it had such thick foliage and was big enough for me and the Israel in the pram to wait out the rain, much to the amusement of people driving by!

Today I am thankful for the rain. It was so nice to wake up to the sound of heavy rain this morning. Rain really brings a feeling of freshness and renewal. So many good things come out of the rain... Water for us to drink, lovely gardens, puddles to splash in, rivers & creeks. The list could go on and on. Although sometimes rain might be a little inconvenient it brings with it so much to be thankful for.
