day 59

Today I am thankful for God. Lately I have been feeling a little numb and ho humm about my relationship with God. It was not a feeling I was liking!! A mixture if tiredness, busyness and laziness was not helping. This holiday has helped a lot with most of those. Last night we went to a great little church and we loved it. It was fresh and different and today I feel much closer to God and much more passionate for him. I also know I need to back this feeling up with some solid time reading the bible and praying. I am so thankful that God is always there, never changing, always faithful. The thing that was keeping me most comforted in the time when I was feeling distant from God was that his love never changes, although I might drift away from time to time he is steady and always waiting and LONGING for me to come back. He feels the same for you too, no matter how you feel you must look in His eyes, no matter what you have done wrong, or how much you have tried to ignore him. Like a loving father he is waiting with arms wide open for you.
