Today I am thankful for a completed to do list! I had so much I wanted to get done today and it is 3.30pm and it's all DONE!!! Miracles do happen!!! They weren't all small jobs either- I did a months worth if paperwork and tidied out the garage as well as a stack of other stuff. It is such a great feeling to know tomorrow when I wake up it will all be done.

Today I am thankful for a lovely swim on a boiling hot day. I don't think anything tops a swim on those days like today. It was so hot that it was hard to leave the house, or even get the energy to pack a swim bag, but I knew it would be worth it..... And it most definitely was!

Today I am thankful for dark sunnies and tissues. I was in a flap this morning as it was time to take Oscar for his first day of BIG school and I couldn't find my glasses to hide my tears. Then just as we were about to go I found them behind the lounge. What a relief! Anyway off we went to school, Oscar was the brave one, so was I till I got outside the gate!
(It wasn't just me with the sunnies either all the other mothers had theirs on as well and everyone had tissues handy!)

Today I am thankful for my new composting bin. I am so excited about my new purchase. I have been eyeing these off for about a year, but didn't have anywhere to bury the compost...... Then last week I found little patch of dirt around the corner, which will be great for the compost and maybe even a little vege patch!! WoooooHoooooo!!

Today I am thankful for fireworks. What a great way to top off Australia day. The fireworks in Wollongong were, much to our amazement, quite good in this year. Maybe it was that we were viewing them through the childrens eyes who had never seen fireworks before. Now I am also very thankful for my bed & can't wait to lay my head down to sleep!!

Today I am thankful for this messy room. Why? This morning the boys room was tidy, but they had so much fun playing together in their room all day, I don't think I heard a fight all day. I had such a peaceful day and I don't mind that I will have to tidy it up cause it was so nice seeing them play so well all day.

Today I am thankful for my church. Such a great service this morning with a very timely reminder of discipline. And it was great to finally hear some preaching about food and rest!!
