day 20
Today I am thankful for my church. Such a great service this morning with a very timely reminder of discipline. And it was great to finally hear some preaching about food and rest!!

day 19

Today I am thankful for tap water. It's been a hot day. When I woke up I thought about how blessed I am cause I didn't have to get up and walk for kilometers to get fresh water. Just in case you aren't feeling that thankful about fresh drinking water, here are some facts for you; 3.575 million people each year die from water related disease, that's about the population of Sydney. 84% of these deaths are children under the age if 14. When we take a 5 minute shower we use more water than a typical person living in a slum uses in a whole day. At any given time, half of the worlds hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from water related disease. Visit www.water.org for more info. And when you turn on the tap next remember to be thankful because you truly are blessed.

day 18
Today I am thankful for friends who come over and help you fold the washing. I had a large pile of washing that was not

folding itself & was threatening to consume the lounge room, til my lovely friend dropped in, saw the pile if clothes and helped me fold & sort out all of them! She even made me feel better about my mess by informing me she had a pile twice as large! Gotta love friends like that!

day 17

Today I am thankful for the lovely car washing day. Nice sun, dirty car & a bored 5 year old was a great recipe for washing the car. I was amazed at how much he has grown up & he was actually a great help, all I had to do was the "tall bits", Oscar took care of the rest. Some if my best childhood memories are washing the car..... Although doesn't seem that exciting to me now I am sure he got as much of a thrill out of it as I used too.
day 16

Today I am thankful for books. I really enjoy reading, but the only trouble is that I become so engrossed in a book that everyone and everything around me gets a bit ( actually VERY) neglected. The other problem is that I read them too quickly, often leaving me with nothing to read. :( BUT I now have 4 books lined up to ready to read. I REALLY hope I can bring myself to put them down and not neglect the family in the meantime. Any suggestions to add to my reading list are greatly appreciated. Cheers.

day 15
Today I am thankful for hanging out in my old digs! I spent 2 lovely days catching up with great friends on the northern beaches. My lovely sister had the older boys for a sleep over, so I was practically kid free.

This picture is of my friends balcony. It was great catching up with her... I haven't seen her for 3 years, but she is my oldest friend (not in years, but in longevity.) Maybe you should ring a long lost friend too?
